Dorint Hotel Baden-Baden: The classic among five-star hotels
Hearty, classic, worth experiencing
The Dorint Maison Messmer Baden-Baden looks back on a long tradition of hospitality and is the venue for many important events. Stars such as Til Schweiger, Udo Jürgens and Pink have also been guests here. The five-star hotel is also a media partner of Südwestrundfunk (SWR), which organizes the well-known music event "New Pop Festival" in Baden-Baden every year.
For more than 40 years, the former Residence Messmer served as the summer residence of the German Emperor Wilhelm I. Thanks to the extensive restoration of the listed building, you can feel the breath of great history again today. 27 hotel rooms and an exclusive wellness area are accommodated here. Together with the adjoining new building from 2001, which is located at the original location of the former main building, the Dorint Maison Messmer Baden-Baden has 136 double rooms, five single rooms, ten luxurious suites as well as a penthouse, all air-conditioned and partly with balcony and view over the city.
The five-star hotel in one of Germany's most beautiful summer capitals between the Black Forest and Alsace welcomes its guests with Mediterranean flair. The hotel is located right next to the casino, theatre and the Kurpark, in the heart of Baden-Baden. The imposing building is an ideal starting point for a relaxing stay far away from everyday life. This is not only ensured by the five-star hotel with all the comforts of a modern luxury hotel. Baden-Baden, the "smallest cosmopolitan city in Europe", also has a lot to offer with thermal baths, many high-quality cultural events and a beautiful landscape.
Rendezvous with exquisite
In the enchanting historic-modern ensemble of buildings, where special people once lived and dined, we welcome our guests to a "rendezvous with exquisite". Exquisite is the exclusive ambience of our restaurant JB Messmer, the fantastic view from the generous window front of Baden-Baden and the wonderful spa park, but above all the kitchen of the new chef Christian Fritzinger. His secret recipe: love and passion, coupled with a dose of creativity and a dash of courage for something extraordinary. Connecting what doesn't belong together, because opposites attract each other and create surprising taste experiences. Turn simple things into extraordinary creations. Compose exotic flavours with regional products. Fresh and best ingredients are naturally un nécessité - a must - and are sourced from the "Court Suppliers". The romantic, rustic theatre cellar, where Baden-elseatic specialities are presented in an open show kitchen, is clearly more regional.
An oasis of relaxation and recreation is the 800 square meter wellness area. One of the highlights is the swimming pool in an exclusive Art Nouveau ambience with waterfall and whirlpool grotto. At the beauty & wellness farm you can indulge yourself with fine cosmetic lines such as Ligne St. Barth, Carita, Weyergans and Reviderm as well as in a unique wellness oasis for facials, body treatments, décolleté, hand and foot and make-up. Pure well-being is achieved by classic massages, aroma massages, packs, Asian energy massages such as shiatsu, Reiki, Lomi-Lomi, Ayurveda, Hot Stone, synchronous and Thai massages. A wide range of fitness facilities as well as an indoor pool and sauna area with ice fountains complete the pampering offer at the Dorint Hotel Baden-Baden.
Malersaal has a room height of seven metres
The heart of the event area is the Malersaal (painter's hall) from the Belle Epoque era with a ceiling height of over seven metres. The former imperial ballroom has survived the demolition and was restored true to detail. A total of six rooms are available for up to 130 people. Whether gala evening, wedding, anniversary or incentive, the Dorint Maison Messmer Baden-Baden guarantees for events in an ambience with high standards.
